WALL STREET (1987 film)

Wall street follows the rise of Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen), a smart one blinded of ambition. He is desolated by the propings of a good life. Eventually get seduced in doing insider treasons, by one man honored who admires most, Gordon Gekko, a magnate corporative, up to destroid arrival company "players" and a million dollar take over, a good guy image, who is really an esence of evil. Bud will embrace that corruption greed, even if the financial estability of who he loves will be imperiled? Must watch it...

A thaumatrope is an optical toy that was popular in the 19th century. A disk with a picture on each side is attached to two pieces of string. When the strings are twirled quickly between the fingers the two pictures appear to blend into one due to the persistence of vision. Many classic thaumatropes also included riddles or short poems, with one line on each side. John Ayrton Paris is consider as the probably inventor. Thaumatropes are often seen as important antecedents of motion pictures and in particular of animation.

Lindsey Lewis and her boyfriend Ben House are left on Earth after the rapture. The souls of the "worthy" have been taken to Heaven while everyone else has been left behind.
