THE ROVER (2014 film)

The Rover is An Australian dystopian drama contemporary western, located ten years after a global economic collapse.  That caused worldwide turmoil, and the Australian outback becomes into a lawless wasteland, crime and poverty are common and small military units patrol the outback attempting to maintain the laws and orders left behind.

There is when the Eric´s car is stolen by three rascals to save their lifes… But the victim is no an example of a “peacefull mind”. Why is so important that car? So a chase begun…
Robert Pattinson (as Reynolds) will get more that an stomach ache, and the questions of and old matron will bring back to serenity Eric’s heart… before a curse of fate reach everyone in his pathway…

A thaumatrope is an optical toy that was popular in the 19th century. A disk with a picture on each side is attached to two pieces of string. Lindsey Lewis and her boyfriend Ben House are left on Earth after the rapture. The souls of the "worthy" have been taken to Heaven while everyone else has been left behind.
